Itching (Pruritus) -- to help stop the patient from licking. Hair Loss (Alopecia) -- some forms of hair loss have responded to this complex, especially where they are of a hormonal nature or following neutering. In your animal, look for signs of -- Seborrhea -- Hot Dog Syndrome -- where an animal suffers from being excessively warm, through its environment or through a reaction in the skin. Ears will be hot to the touch, often smelly, while the dog's skin will be hot to the touch and red on examination. NOTE: allowing the animal to lie in a cooler spot or iced water allows relief to be maintained after treatment. Itching (Pruritus) -- many forms of itching will respond. Be aware of links between itching and separation anxiety. Eczema -- all forms of eczema. Also be aware of the uses of complexes for Hot Spot Dermatitis and Miliary Eczema.
